Trip Overview

Darjeeling, formerly known as Darjiling is also known as the place of thunderbolt or Dorja the mystical. Darjeeling is situated at an altitude of 2134 m above sea level in North Bengal. Darjeeling is the famous hill station in West Bengal and has spectacular scenery and offers views of the Himalayas. The scenic beauty of Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga, the two highest peaks of the Himalayas, is something never to be forgotten. Darjeeling is built on spur on the Ghoom Sanchal Ridge and faces the Himalayas and the surrounding hills. These hills are thickly covered with coniferous forests or terraced tea gardens. The upper reaches of the popular hill station were originally occupied by the Europeans who built houses with commanding views. Nepali, Lepcha, tibetan, Bhutia and Bengali are the various people that lives in Darjeeling. The best season to visit Darjeeling is from October to December and April to June.

Detail Itinerary

DAY 01: KATHMANDU- NJP RAILWAY STATION VIE KAKARVITTA

Pick up from Kathmandu and starts journey with our one Executive who will be delivered you with one more Gorkhali executive at NjP Railway station vie Kakarvitta then you’ ll be followed by both of them. On the way Dinner & Over night at travelling on vehicle

DAY 02 : NJP RAILWAY STATION/IXB AIRPORT – DARJEELING :

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, we will be met by our Executive who will assist us to board our vehicle to Darjeeling (100 kms / 3 hrs). Overnight at Darjeeling.

DAY 03 : DARJEELING :

After breakfast visit to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu. Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday),Ropeway, Lebong Race Course & Tea Estate. Afternoon visit to Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Lake. Overnight at Darjeeling.

DAY 04 : DARJEELING :

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over KanchenjungaPeak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast at hotel go for excursion to Mirik Lake via Nepal Border. overnight at Darjeeling.

DAY 05 : DARJEELING – NJP RAILWAY STATION/IXBAIRPORT :

After breakfast proceed to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (100 Km / 03 Hrs), for our onward journey.

DAY 06 : NJP RAILWAY STATION TO KATHMANDU VIE KAKARVITTA

After cross the NJP station we heading to Kathmandu vie kakarvitte, night stay at travelling on vehicle and dinner on the way , drop to Kathmandu bus park or as per nogaseation

All the rates will quoted on per person basis in Nepali Rupees & Service Tax (GST) would be applicable as extra as per actual. As per Indian Govt. (At present GST is 2.58%)

• 3 nights’ accommodation at Darjeeling on twin sharing basis, 2 nights on Travelling vehicle

• Meals as per plan

• All transportation or transfer & sightseeing by exclusive Non AC vehicle †(vehicle will not be at disposal & will available to guest as per itinerary only)

Any Air Fare/Train fare.
Any kind of personal expenses for optional tours / extra meals ordered.
Personal Expenses such as Laundry, Telephone calls, Tips, Insurance, Any type of drinks or Liquor, Boating charges & Jjoy Rides tickets, Guide Charges & Entrance Fees/ tickets
Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.
Anything not specifically mentioned under the head “Package Include” .
We provide Non Ac Maruti Van for 2- 3 persons , Non Ac Tata Sumo for 4- 8 persons. or same standard vehicles.
