It is wonderful canoeing on the Narayani River in Chitwan Park in a typical hand- made dugout canoe and seeing all the wildlife, including a well-camouflaged crocodile and other several verities of reptiles swimming in the river and basking in the sun. You can also enjoy watching many kinds of colorful birds, including kingfishers and if you are luck you can even see rhinos and tiger who come to the river bank to drink water.

While canoeing you will slowly pass the shores of the rivers which are full with amazing crocodiles and beautiful birds. During the trip you are accompanied by a guide who will tell you about the animals. The best part is that you just sit and relax as you dont have to peddle yourself, a boatman joins the ride who does this job to give you a comfortable ride in water.
